Briggs is fine, physically atleast. The Suit Chute screwup borked his Suit a bit, though, which meant that the Nexus Machine didn't pull it off of him on subsequent link through passes. We had to manually undo the latches to get him out. Atleast he got a nifty souvenir out of it! The Nexus removed the suits for the rest of us properly, though, so it wasn't an error on that end, atleast.

The Chute malfunctions are quite bizarre to say the least. The audio speakers got caught in a loop and kept playing the same message over and over and over again. @_@;

To be fair, Hazado, you did have some issues with the Purple team chute the last time we did a 1v1 match- it just was delayed dropping you instead of locking up like it did on Briggs. This D'ni tech is quite a pain in the rear, if I'm being honest. It's no wonder the DRC never got around to finishing fixing this thing.

That said, when we get it working right, I can foresee a LOT of 2v2 team matches.

With how little damage he took from that screw-up, I'm wondering now If I can get one of these suits for my personal closet.
Might have to see if there is anything setup to let me keep one

Will have to poke around the D'ni operating system for the wall and see if there is a reward system or something built into it.

I'll admit, it'd be nice to have a personal Suit again for exploring hazardous areas on my own time. To say nothing about using them for official Restoration Work. (I'm NOT stepping a single foot on that one constantly blizzarding iceball of an Age without a Maintainer Suit.)

Well, it's good that he's alright.

It would be nice to have a Maintainer Suit of my own, though I'm not so sure about the colors. Do they come in Bright Green?

Well the testing went better and Briggs returned for an additional round!
The Chute that deploys the suits only malfunctioned on one side this time.
It just didn't want to work at all this time, but I believe I found the issue and hopefully that will be the last.

The testing team made their way to the other chute and climbed the wall on that side.

Briggs seemed to have issues with his suit again though. Seems the helmet got stuck and he was unable to see for a bit.
Fortunately we were able to get it off and he is no worse for wear.

Very Funny, Calum, pretending to be a ghost with that silly maintainer suit on.

Let it be known that they protect against hot coffee as well as any element.

...Seriously, though, can you atleast help me get out of this thing's helmet? My glasses are squished up against my face in here and it's getting really uncomfortable.

...Buy me some cookies and a package of ground coffee, and I'll consider it.
